    The project route will begin at Serik Junction, turn eastward, and follow the corridor along the foothills of the Taurus Mountains within the borders of the Serik and Manavgat districts. It will end at the Alanya Junction, north of Konaklı.

  • How long will the motorway be?

    The Antalya–Alanya Motorway will span 122 km.

  • How many lanes will the motorway have?

    The motorway will consist of 84 km of 2x3-lane highway and 38 km of 2x2-lane connection roads.

  • How many viaducts and tunnels will be constructed under the project?

    16 viaducts and 5 tunnels will be constructed.

  • How much will the motorway shorten the distance between Antalya and Alanya?

    Currently, the journey takes approximately 2.5 hours during peak hours. Once completed, the motorway will reduce travel time to just 36 minutes.

  • How will the project improve the lives of residents in Antalya and Alanya?

    The project aims to enhance traffic safety and the security of life and property, while also allowing traffic from neighboring provinces to pass without entering the city. It will shorten travel times and decrease fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance necessities, and repair costs. Additionally, the project will reduce noise, environmental pollution, and emissions caused by traffic congestion.

  • How will the regional economy benefit from the motorway?

    The motorway will significantly reduce traffic congestion between Antalya and Alanya, providing tourists and residents with a more comfortable and stress-free travel experience. With quicker access to more destinations, tourists will have more time to explore the region, boosting tourism diversity and contributing to the local economy. The motorway is also expected to attract new investment and lead to the development of new tourism facilities, creating additional employment opportunities.

  • How much will be saved with the opening of the motorway?

    An estimated total of TRY 6.6 billion liras will be saved annually once the motorway is operational.

  • How much will carbon emissions be reduced when the motorway becomes operational?

    Carbon emissions are expected to decrease by 47,000 tons.

  • When did the motorway project start?

    The tender for the construction, operation, and transfer of the Antalya–Alanya Motorway Project, under the Build-Operate-Transfer model, was held on December 15, 2023. The Implementation Contract for the project was signed on October 14, 2024, and the process is ongoing.

  • When is the motorway project planned to be completed?

    The construction of the motorway is scheduled to be completed within 3 years.
